European Commission President-elect Ursula von der Leyen has unveiled who will join her team during her administration. In the next weeks, the newly-elected members of the European Parliament will have a chance to test these confirmed nominees during committee hearings of each Commissioner-designate.
These hearings constitute a major opportunity for Commissioners-designate to express their commitment to act for a healthy planet for healthy people, before the future European Commission takes office on 1 November 2019.
