HEAL has over 90 member organisations, representing health professionals, not-for-profit health insurers, doctors, nurses, cancer and asthma groups, citizens, women’s groups, youth groups, environmental NGOs, scientists and public health institutes. Members include international and Europe-wide organisations, as well as national and local groups.
The breadth of the Alliance is very wide both in terms of representation and expertise. Members include medical associations in 20 European countries, organisations that focus on a single condition (such as asthma, allergies, breast cancer) or that represent different groups, and prestigious institutes.
Alongside our members, HEAL’s second governing body is the Executive Committee, which oversees the implementation of the annual work programme and the priorities of HEAL’s activities.
