Marianne is HEAL’s Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator for Urban Health. She leads on HEAL’s input for the EU funded research projects UBDPolicy and CATALYSE, and coordinates the knowledge translation from these two projects. In addition, she monitors health, environmental, and climate policy developments relevant for the city level, especially for Poland, and works to build up a strong network of city partners for strengthened evidence-based policymaking.
Before joining HEAL, Marianne worked in the public health and in the physical activity sector, focusing on health promotion and disease prevention issues. She also volunteered for several organisations and specifically worked on health and the green transition, trying to promote alternative solutions to protect the planet while enhancing human health.
