HEAL is pleased to invite all members to the 2022 meeting of the General Assembly. The meeting will take place on 26 and 27 October 2022.

In addition to the HEAL business session, the GA meeting will include highly interactive sessions:

  • To reconnect as an alliance;
  • To discuss key policy priorities and learn from one another;
  • To celebrate our successes and identify areas where we could work more closely together.

Members will also have an opportunity to present their work and achievements. The full programme and GA information pack will be available in early October.

When and where will the GA meeting take place?

  • Wednesday 26 October, from 10:30am to 5:30pm, at Mundo-Madou, Avenue des Arts 7/8, 1210 Brussels
  • Thursday 27 October, from 9:30am to 12:30pm, at Mundo B, Rue d’Edimbourg 26, 1050 Brussels (followed by a light lunch)

Registrations are open

Registrations for the GA meeting are now open and close on Friday 30 September. Please complete the form below to register on behalf of your organisation. Do not forget to let us know whether you need accommodation and/or travel funding support. (Information on HEAL’s funding support scheme is available here.)

COVID safety

In light of the current health context, HEAL takes a cautious approach when organising events. This is why we will ask all participants to complete a COVID self-test on each day of the GA meeting before entering the premises where the meeting is held. Only those whose self-test came back negative will be allowed to participate. HEAL will endeavour to make self-tests available to you at your accommodation. If not, HEAL will reimburse the cost of purchasing them.

Anyone who is unwell, who is showing COVID symptoms or whose self-test came back positive should let me know and remain in their hotel room. Assistance will be provided.

Disposable masks and hand sanitiser will be made available during the meeting. The meeting room will be ventilated to meet safety requirements.

HEAL’s approach to managing events may be adjusted in line with Belgian government guidelines as required. We will proactively communicate any changes that may impact the GA meeting.

You can’t make it?

According to the HEAL Statutes, the General Assembly can only validly make decisions if a quarter of HEAL members are represented in person or through a proxy. If you are unable to attend the GA meeting, please consider providing a proxy vote to another HEAL member. We will contact members who haven’t registered for the GA meeting after registrations close.
