HEAL welcomes the call from 250 scientists urging the European Commission to follow scientific recommendations and include provisions to account for the effects of chemical mixtures to better protect health in the upcoming revision of REACH, the EU’s regulation for chemicals.
HEAL’s Deputy Director Anne Stauffer participated in a webinar organised by the ENBEL project.
The webinar was part of the 5th European Climate Change Adaptation Conference (ECCA) webinar series. It presented state-of-the art knowledge on health effects of global warming linked to heat stress and other climate hazards in a European context and discusses how alternative policy options and measures can help safeguarding the health and wellbeing of citizens through climate action.
