In 2025, HEAL welcomed several new organisations into its international network of over 70 members committed to advancing health through environmental action. These new members bring valuable expertise in public health, environmental justice, and sustainable policy, further strengthening the capacity of the alliance to help face the challenges from biodiversity loss, pollution and climate change. Learn more about their missions and work below.
Together with the Global Climate and Health Alliance (GCHA), and partners in India, especially in the city of Bengaluru, HEAL developed a toolkit aimed at health professionals in India who wish to start communicating on clean air and health.
The toolkit is directed at everyone in the health sector interested in making their voices heard and wanting to understand the possibilities that traditional media and social media can offer.
This toolkit is intended to be a comprehensive yet flexible reference guide to be used to inspire and strengthen social media and communication activities over time.
