Today’s publication of the European Commission’s chemicals omnibus confirms serious concerns: if pushed through the proposal will significantly weaken protections in the Cosmetic Products Regulation, allowing the prolonged use of carcinogens and other harmful chemicals in personal care products.
HEAL’s Senior Health and Energy Policy Officer Vlatka Matkovic will be chairing the session “Climate and Health: From Research to Policy in the Context of EU and Belmont Forum Funded Projects”, organised by the ENBEL project on connecting health and climate change.
This session is part of the 33rd Annual Conference of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology and will bring together five high-level speakers showcasing findings on climate and health research.
