In 2025, HEAL welcomed several new organisations into its international network of over 70 members committed to advancing health through environmental action. These new members bring valuable expertise in public health, environmental justice, and sustainable policy, further strengthening the capacity of the alliance to help face the challenges from biodiversity loss, pollution and climate change. HEAL’s Senior Health and Energy Policy Officer Vlatka Matkovic will be chairing the session “Climate and Health: From Research to Policy in the Context of EU and Belmont Forum Funded Projects”, organised by the ENBEL project on connecting health and climate change.
This session is part of the 33rd Annual Conference of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology and will bring together five high-level speakers showcasing findings on climate and health research.
