HEAL and several other organisations are calling on Permanent Representatives of the European Union to protect European citizens by opposing the Commission’s proposal for a 10-year renewal of glyphosate’s approval. This is especially crucial in light of new scientific evidence demonstrating that glyphosate-based herbicides can cause leukaemia in rats, even at low doses that were previously deemed safe by EU regulatory authorities.
