Organisation: European Federation of Allergy & Airways Diseases Patients’ Association (EFA) (Belgium)
Isabel works for the European Federation of Allergy and Airways Diseases Patients’ Associations (EFA) based in Brussels. The association has 43 allergy, asthma and COPD patients’ organisations in 25 European countries. Since 1991, it works for European patients with allergy, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) to live uncompromised lives, have the right and access to the best quality care and a safe environment.
As a communications and campaign professional specialised in EU and international affairs, Isabel bring to HEAL the patients’ perspective to reinforce HEAL’s watchdog work to include health protection across European policies. She represents the respiratory and allergic patients, who are radars of the healthiness of the environment we live in, to enrich HEAL with specific and feasible asks to improve patients’ lives, and prevent disease.
She represents EFA at the Digital Health topic group of the European Medicines Agency.
