RES highlights campaign to ban dental amalgams

Several associations, including the Réseau Environnement Santé (RES) have alerted the public in a campaign called campaign is called ‘Non au mercure dentaire’ against what they consider to be a serious absence of healthy practice in using dental amalgams.

Amalgams often contain mercury and are the main source of mercury exposure in developed countries. In France, "despite numerous warnings of scientists and patient groups’, dentists continue to use these fillings in molars or premolars" "explained Marie Grosman of the campaign in an article from Le Quotidian du Medicin.
