PAN Europe publishes new report on the derogations of illegal pesticides granted by EU MS

A new report on the derogations of illegal pesticides granted by EU MS has just been released by PAN Europe. It shows France, Portugal and Greece are again the main users of derogations and discussess the use of unauthorised pesticides increases risks for human health as well as the environment, while the justification for its use is absent and very questionable.

PAN-Europe urges Commissioner Dalli to restrict utilization to the absolute minimum by forcing member states to use existing alternatives and make the derogation system fully transparent. For more information see:
