One Health Sweden: New publication on infectious diseases in a change world, Healthy animals – safe humans

On 14 November, “One Health Sweden” highlighted a successful publication released last year on their “One Health” day. This publication on infectious diseases encountered great success in the media and was supported by a personal story of a football player who was affected by the dengue fever.

Thirty thousand copies were distributed at universities, high schools, other institutions and authorities. On 14 November the publication was to high school students during a panel debate with medical doctor Åsa Melhus, veterinarian Susanna Sternberg Lewerin, limnologist Stefan Bertilsson and teachers in natural sciences.
