Fundacion Vivo sano : Spanish survey on consumer perceptions around chemicals and health

The Health Defense Organisation/Fundacion Vivo Sano launched a survey on July 11 to assess the general knowledge about the health effects of chemicals. Survey respondents were asked whether they all agree or disagree with a number of statements on how chemicals may be affecting human health.

The survey results show participants were aware of the ways in which some chemicals may be harmful to health, but strongly disagreed with a statement that current legislation is protective enough.

Survey participants strongly agreed with the statement that “Some man-made chemicals can disrupt the hormone system”.
