European Lung Health – Take the active option for better lung health

This year, Healthy Lungs for Life, spearheaded by the European Respiratory Society (ERS) and the European Lung Foundation (ELF), will focus on physical activity and the importance of remaining active, or "taking the active option" for lung health.

Healthy Lungs for Life is one of the largest ever lung health campaigns, raising awareness of the importance of healthy lungs to healthcare professionals, scientists, primary care, patients, policy makers and the public through a full range of events, projects and promotional activities. The current theme is "Take the active option".

The website has been updated with plenty of resources to help you hold your own event as part of the campaign.

Here is the official Healthy Lungs for Life video

Join the Healthy Lungs for Life Facebook group to see what is happening across the globe and share pictures and details of your events. The Twitter hashtag is #TakeTheActiveOption
