EPHA: Would the EU-US trade agreement benefit Europe’s public health?

In late October, EPHA attended a Transatlantic Consumer Dialogue’s (TACD) event about the prospective Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) between the US and EU. The debate dealt with the consumers’ benefit on both sides of the Atlantic including crucial considerations about public health issues. In a nutshell, this seminar stressed out deregulation aspects and potential impacts of more trade flexibility with drawbacks regarding public health.
