EPHA: Briefing on health in Europe 2020

The European Public Health Alliance (EPHA) has developed a briefing on health in Europe 2020 which highlights the importance of the health sector in reaching the Europe 2020 goals.

The briefing examines the health impacts of EU economic governance, the changes to healthcare systems and recommendations from civil society and the European Parliament on health in the annual growth survey.

EPHA highlights the health related recommendations from several NGOs, including the European Women’s Lobby (EWL), as well as the health benefits of the EU reaching the Europe 2020 targets of CO2 reductions.
