ELF: Launch of new website!

The European Lung Foundation (ELF) has launched its new website, providing information on over 20 lung diseases and risk factors, including indoor and outdoor air pollution and a number of lung conditions caused by the environment.

The new content is based on new data in the European Lung White Book, a comprehensive publication looking at respiratory health across Europe. The book was first published in 2003 and an updated version has recently been launched at the European Respiratory Society Congress. The new book, and the ELF website, contain the latest facts and figures on lung health from across Europe.

The website also provides an interactive area for patient organisations to network and share ideas, and opportunities for patients to get involved, along with a news service reporting on the latest lung health stories in the news.

Visit to explore the new site or to view the full White Book text and background data.
