Alborada Foundation – Roundtable on EDCs and health costs

The Alborada Foundation is hosting a public roundtable on EDCs in Madrid on 27 February entitled, “Agents that alter your health. Implications for the uninformed consumer and impact on the costs of public health.”

This event aims to highlight what the marketing of products containing EDCs means for the health of citizens. Scientists, doctors, decision makers and NGOs will discuss the scope of the problem and the possible ways to solve it.

Two interesting reports on EDCs will be presented during the meeting. First, HEAL will present the Spanish version of its latest report “Health costs in the EU. How much is related to EDCs?” (shown left) highlighting the billions of euros that EDCs cost to public health across the EU.

Secondly a report will be released by the Alborada Foundation on EDCs in relation to Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) which reviews their role triggering or aggravating this disease.
