HEAL in Poland at 25th meeting of Polish European Respiratory Society

In January HEAL in Poland attended the 25th meeting of the Polish European Respiratory Society (ERS), an annual event bringing together the most well-known pulmonologists and other health and medical experts in Poland.

The event took place in the small Polish city of Turzno, saw numerous scientific presentations and lectures on advanced medical pulmonology issues, including lung transplants, bronchofiberoscopy and new medical solutions for pulmonology patients.

HEAL presented its position paper on improving air quality, which led to a discussion on concrete ways to improve air quality in Poland.

There was also an opportunity to present HEAL materials used on World Spirometry Day last year, highlighting the impact of pollution on health and explaining the importance of health and medical communities coming together to work for cleaner air in Poland.
