C2DS - Comité pour le Développement Durable en Santé

C2DS - Comité pour le Développement Durable en Santé is an organization based in France. It was set up by a group of hospitals in order to establish a healthcare community committed to environmentally responsible healthcare. Their missions are: educate, inform and to set up and maintain the network of members.

C2DS has endorsement of the French Ministry of Health. They are involved in a range of environmental issues in healthcare, with a focus on providing a “green education” for the healthcare sector. They are closely involved in developing their work on Green Purchasing.

In their three years existence their main publications where: a guide of the best practices in healthcare, brochures and a movie on harm caused by chemicals substances in cosmetic products.
