A European conference on human biomonitoring: From biomarkers to human biomonitoring as a policy support tool in environmental health will take place in Paris on 4-5 November 2008. The conference is organised by the French Institut de Veille Sanitaire (InVS) with the support of the French Ministry of Health, Youth, Sport and Associations.
The conference will bring together stakeholders in the area of human biomonitoring. A wide range of topics will be covered based on Human Biomonitoring (HBM) programmes and activities implemented in different European countries and in North America (USA and Canada).
The aim of the conference is to demonstrate the usefulness and added value of human biomonitoring as a tool for policy and for public health actions.
