The Movement for Rights and Respect of Future Generations (MDRGF), a French environmental NGO, is coordinating the “Week without pesticides”, a series of events which will take place from 20 to 30 March all around France and in some European countries.

NGOs, farmers and institutions will organise various and interactive activities in order to raise public awareness on pesticides dangers and available alternatives to pesticides use.

Events such as bio markets, conferences, movies, debates, exhibitions, shows, field trips, visits in gardens or farms are planned as well as children’s activities.

The “Week without pesticides” was created back in 2006 by French NGO Citizen Action for Alternative to Pesticides (ACAP). This year, MDRGF is coordinating it and for the first time it will also take place in other European countries.
