Pesticides: Professor Philippe Grandjean was interviewed by BBC television while in Brussels for the pesticides workshop on Wednesday, 7 March 2006. The following day, ENDS Europe Daily, Europe’s environmental news service, reported our call for stricter EU pesticide curbs.
Mercury: HEAL’s "Halting the child brain drain" report, which was launched in January 2007, continues to attract attention. Media coverage includes a two-page article in The Parliament Magazine and a feature in the "Greenwatch" rubrique of Environmental Health Practitioners (March 2007). There has continued to be media coverage of mercury and health in Croatia following a local press conference organised by Natasca Janev of HEAL member, Pin for Health.
