Media coverage of the launch of HEAL and Health Care Without Harm’s joint report exceeded all expectations.
Associated Press in Brussels filed a story, which was picked up by newspapers and websites across the world, including the Paris-based International Herald Tribune. With our campaign poster in the background, EuroNews television broadcast interviews with Génon Jensen and Frédérique Ries MEP outlining the concern and pointing to the need for a global ban. EuroNews is an important media for those involved in European policy issues. Broadcasts go out in seven languages simultaneously. The specialist press also gave strong coverage - including both Brussels policy journalists and health, environmental and medical editors.
A full report on media coverage is available in the members only section of the website.
