Boston Consensus Conference on Biomonitoring

On 9 and 11 December 2006 the Boston Consensus Conference on Biomonitoring took place.

Members of the panel identified and agreed on five priority areas of concern for further exploration and consideration:
* establishing responsible surveillance programs;
* using biomonitoring data to influence corporate and government behavior;
* educating the general public about biomonitoring;
* addressing issues of ethics, confidentiality and disclosure; and
* public policy.
