Boston Consensus Conference on Biomonitoring

On 9 and 11 December 2006 the Boston Consensus Conference on Biomonitoring took place.

Members of the panel identified and agreed on five priority areas of concern for further exploration and consideration:
- establishing responsible surveillance programs;
- using biomonitoring data to influence corporate and government behavior;
- educating the general public about biomonitoring;
- addressing issues of ethics, confidentiality and disclosure; and
- public policy.
