The Austrian section of ISDE (International Society of Doctors for the Environment) is a politically independent association of doctors working on the health impact of environmental problems. Main issues during the years have been air pollution, transport and health/environment (incl. air traffic), the health care system’s input on the environment, environmentally conscious housing, genetic engineering in agriculture, pesticides, private composting facilities, nuclear power, etc.
Active on the following issues related to EEN policy priorities:

EU Action Plan on Env and Health
Chemicals
Climate change
Air quality
AeGU is a full member since 2004.
