EPHA aims to promote and protect the health interests of all people living in Europe and to strengthen the dialogue between the EU institutions, citizens and NGOs in support of healthy public policies. They participate in the policy making process within the EU institutions by maximizing the flow of information concerning health promotion and public health policy developments amongst all interested players. Moreover, they promote greater awareness amongst European citizens and non-governmental organizations about policy developments and programme initiatives that effect the health of EU citizens.

EPHA is a founder Member.
The European Public Health Alliance (EPHA) represents over 100 non-governmental and other not-for-profit organizations working in support of health in Europe. 35 EPHA members are pan-European or international networks.
