The European Public Health Alliance Environment Network (EEN) in Brussels is seeking a dynamic young English-language journalist to work as an intern for six months contributing to a monthly electronic newsletter, a quarterly printed bulletin and various sections of the website; drafting press releases and liasing with journalists; and coordinating a series of fact sheets on different aspects of how the environment affects our health.
Candidates should have excellent writing and other communication skills in English and be self-motivated in the preparation of investigative articles. Knowledge and experience of website editing is also desirable. Knowledge of the European institutions would be an advantage but ability and willingness to learn quickly would be equally acceptable.

The successful candidate will be offered a "Contrat d’immersion professionnelle" under Belgian law. A fixed monthly allowance of 605 EUR will be provided as well as reimbursement of work related costs for public transport.
