Deputy Director

Before becoming HEAL Deputy Director, Monica was Information Officer and Policy Coordinator. Together with HEAL Executive Director, she is now responsible for the operational management of HEAL, implementation of the annual work programme and membership services; coordination of the HEAL team for deliverables in the areas of policy analysis, advocacy and project implementation.

Her specific policy briefs are pesticides and public participation (Aarhus Convention). She also edits the electronic monthly newsletter, manages the content and the structure of the organisation’s website, as well as communication flows internally, to member organisations and to the external public.
