EFA pushes for EU funded Surveillance Network on allergies and asthma
Breda Flood, President of the European Federation of Allergy & Airways Diseases Patients´ Association (EFA) recently provided testimony in the European Parliament from a patient’s perspective to support the creation of an EU funded Surveillance Network on allergies and asthma. The meeting gathered MEPs and other EU officials, patient and medical communities to discuss the urgent need to address allergies, and to reduce the burden of the disease by setting up a Pan-EU Surveillance Network.
